Writers Are So Full of Shit, They Can Write About Anything
A creative writing exercise I totally made up just now…like right now…at 5 a.m…in my pajamas
Writers get roadblocks, go brain dead, get stumped.
Sometimes we sit down to write and can’t think about anything other than the piece of cheese we want to eat in the fridge, when taxes are due, or whether or not right now is a good time to start spring cleaning.
Inspiration has completely abandoned us.
Well, I say, f*ck that.
We are creators! We are imaginators! (Yeah, I know…not really a word.)
Someone could hand me a piece of tin foil and say, “Give me 500 words about this tin foil by the end of the day.” I’d be all over it!
And then I’d make a hat.
Point being…my people…I say we tap into our creativity with a little game.
I call it, “Writers Are So Full of Shit, They Can Write About Anything”
